Monte Pora, winter and summer

Things to do at Monte Pora

Ski from December, walk up to Rifugio Magnolini, ride an e-bike, spend the afternoon on the Pora Beach pontoon. Here are the times, starting points and seasons, taken from official sources.

Winter: snow close by, full days

The Monte Pora lifts open in December: for the 2026/27 season the operator says «December 2026» and publishes the exact date on its website.

Skiing and snowboarding

Seven lifts and twenty-three runs, almost all red and blue, plus one black on the Vareno side. On high-season days and at weekends the lifts run from 8:30 to 16:30.

Ski school

Scuola Sci Monte Pora takes children from their fifth birthday, for private lessons and group courses. For the youngest there is a page of its own.

On some winter evenings the Termen run stays lit until 23:00, with dinner at Baita Termen. The calendar of evenings is on the Monte Pora website.

Snow Tube

Sliding down on rings has a run of its own, starting at Baita Termen.

Snowshoes

From Malga Alta di Sotto, at the end of via Cima Pora, you snowshoe up to Rifugio Pian del Termen: about an hour and a half and 260 metres of climb, along path 551 (source: Rifugi di Lombardia). With little snow, boots or microspikes are enough. Snowshoes can be rented at Monte Pora, children's sizes too.

Summer: trails, bikes and water up high

In summer the Termen chairlift runs at weekends, from 10:00 to 16:00 (in 2026 until 13 September). When it is stopped, you reach Baita Termen on foot or by shuttle.
